My friends Paul, Joe, Forrest, Richard, and Seth (L-R in the top photo) have a band named “The Gentiles,” and they are competing in Hillsdale’s Battle of the Bands next week.

Hillsdale beat Michigan Tech 37–35 in a close game today at home. The photos below show number 22, Vinnie Panizzi, scoring a magnificent touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Click on the photos to view them at a larger size. A quick note: I had a guest post on William Clayton’s blog yesterday!
Today was the first day of classes at Hillsdale! It is time to hit the books. I already have homework and reading piled on for Friday. I am excited about my classes, though, and I am looking forward to a wonderful semester! (The photo above is my roommate Trevor, studying away.)
