Day 19 – Hillsdale Swimming

I was going through my Aperture library today and found this photo of someone on the Hillsdale Swimming and Diving team. Click to view the photo full size.

On a side note, I am looking for an ultra-wide angle lens or a fisheye. I think I have partially narrowed it down to these four. Does anyone have any thoughts on these lenses or any suggestions of others? They must fit a Canon 40D.

  1. Tokina 11-16 2.8 all the way! My hubby has heard great reviews about it. In addition you may want to look at the Sigma 10-20 Wide Angle lens. I know a lot of people who have it and it produces some great images. Be wary though if you are planning on upgrading you 40D eventually. Many of these lenses won’t work on a full frame camera (ie…5d or 5D Mark II). I know you probably won’t do this in the real near future but be careful or you may have to sell it eventually anyway.

    1. Thank you! The f/2.8 keeps pulling me closer and closer to buying that lens.
I doubt that I will upgrade my 40D in the near future, but if I do, I will probably sell the 40D and a few other lenses as a package.

      Thank you for your advice!
