Feeling behind this morning. The day started off well: Up early, everything aligned and we got out the door on time. Then when we got to daycare I realized I had forgot Charlie’s gloves, which he needs. They play outside every day and it is cold today. So we drove back home and got the gloves, but there was a front-end loader and dump truck working on the street, and for a toddler who loves construction equipment, I’d be a monster not to let him watch.
I got back home after dropoff around two to a flurry of time-sensitive messages. Now I’m behind.
Some days are like that.
