This is a very difficult subject to discuss, and the best advice I can give you is to find out what you believe on your own. I say this because logically you can’t talk to anyone about something to that subjective. Those who are religious can’t talk rationally about religion, and it’s the same for those who aren’t religious. You can get ideas, but it really comes down to whatever you decide on. You know I was raised Christian, but now I will tell you that I’m atheist. I too went through a lot of thought on the topic, and the deal breaker for me was when I can to the realization that God was a human creation, and if that is the case, then what is the point?
